Care of “DELUXE” and “VELVETY” latex bed linen
The only difference between the two materials is that the fabric dries much longer than the latex.
Hand wash

For hand washing, it is best to use a plastic tub, which can then be easily cleaned by rinsing. Special latex care products are available on the market, such as Vivishine products. Alternatively, you can also use mild shampoo or liquid soap, but without skin-care additives.

Now place the latex bed linen in sufficiently warm water with the detergent and wash it through. Then rinse with clear water and place in warm water again, adding a few drops of Vivishine (alternatively pure silicone oil viscosity 50).

If you shake out the bed linen well before hanging it up, you will avoid the build-up of oily water droplets. And don’t forget to turn the covers over so that they can also dry well on the inside.
Washing machine

Washing in the washing machine is also possible. To do this, close the zippers so that they do not scratch the latex. Latex is heavy, do not put too much in the drum.

Put the detergent in the detergent compartment and a few drops of Vivishine in the fabric softener compartment.

Then start the wool program at 40°. Then dry as described above.

To clean the washing machine of the silicone oil, I wash a load of towels at 60°.
Your latex bed linen will now have a nice shine and will be stored in a dark place until the next use.
Washing and drying latex
You should always wash all items that you have worn next to your skin after each use. This removes sweat, grease and skin flakes, of which we lose quite a few every day. Washing also removes silicone oil or talcum powder that you have applied for dressing and undressing.
Just as there are many different fetishes, there are different preferences when it comes to cleaning latex clothing. Machine washing is just as possible as washing by hand.

Now place the latex clothing in sufficiently warm water with the detergent and wash it through. Then rinse with clear water and place in warm water again, adding a few drops of Vivishine (alternatively pure silicone oil viscosity 50 to 100).

If you shake out your clothes well before hanging them up, you will avoid the build-up of oily water droplets. Milky stains often remain, especially on transparent latex. These are water spots. But they will disappear again once your good piece has dried.

And, very importantly, don’t forget to turn the clothes inside out so that they can dry properly on the inside. In addition, open all zippers and check whether the pocket bags are dry.
Your latex clothing now has a nice shine and will be stored in a dark place until the next use.
If you prefer to use powder, do not use any kind of oil. After rinsing the latex items with clear water, allow them to dry well and then lightly powder them so that they do not stick together. This is easy to do if you put the items in a plastic bag with a little perfume-free powder, or even better talcum powder, hold it tightly closed and shake it until all areas are lightly covered. Don’t forget to turn them over once in between, as both sides need to be well cared for.
